What They Asked For

A Christmas Grotto for Eldon Garden Shopping Centre.

What We Did

We created a full Christmas grotto experience kitted out with Christmas decorations, amazingly lit Christmas trees, presents for the children,  reindeer and the big man himself; Santa.  

Santa was joined by two of our elftastic promotional staff members, fully costumed as Santa’s Little Helpers.  These brand ambassadors not only spoke to children and kept the queues in order throughout each day but also took photos of each child with Santa, with high quality printouts of the photos made available on the day for parents to take away. IE pages as well as the Eldon Garden social media accounts, increasing footfall to the grotto itself and extending the reach of the activation by bringing attention to it online as well as in person.

Outcome

The activation saw over 450 children visit Santa and receive personal gifts and photos of their special day.  Footfall to the shopping centre also increased as a result of the implementation of social media within the activation.
