Alice in Wonderland At Dalton park

What they asked for:

A family experiential activation to entertain the shoppers of Dalton Park.

What we did:

A team of 6 costumed character actors played Alice, Mad Hatter, Dweedle Dumb and Dee, White Rabbit and The Queen of Hearts, following a partially improvised Mad Hatters tea party storyline. The characters were provided with a script to follow which allowed for crowd participation and interaction throughout. All props and costumes were provided, sourced and set up by IE. 

The children were invited to watch and take part in the shows which took place every hour, listen to Alice’s tale of how she fell down the Rabbit Hole with photo opportunities with all of the characters at regular intervals throughout the event.

Outcome:

The Saturday car count average for the outlet centre is around 4155 which increased to 4636 the day Alice In Wonderland took place, this shows a 11.58% increase. 

The client was extremely happy with the results of the Alice In Wonderland experiential activation as it increased footfall and engagement in the centre, proving to be a brilliant piece of retail marketing. Members of the public were equally impressed and passed on their feelings of enjoyment both face to face and online via social media.
